TRAPPING

Yorkana Game & Gun Club recognizes the important role trapping plays in wildlife conservation and responsible game management. To ensure that our practices support healthy ecosystems and align with state regulations, all trapping activities on club grounds strictly adhere to Pennsylvania Game Commission laws.

Each year, the club reviews and sets its trapping policies through a fair and informed voting process. These guidelines are decided by member vote no later than the June meeting, allowing time for planning and preparation ahead of the season. Final decisions are announced before adjournment of that meeting, ensuring all members are aware of the rules in place.

By following state requirements and maintaining a member-driven policy approach, Yorkana Game & Gun Club provides safe, ethical, and well-managed trapping opportunities—helping preserve wildlife balance while honoring the traditions of our sportsmen community.
